There are three key words we have for our guiding service: Unique, Quality, and Experience. It’s these words I focus on. The variety of fishing possibilities and my wish to tailor to your unique needs, will hopefully leave a lasting impression for many years to come.

Ryan preparing lunch for his guiding clients.

We have experienced it myself. One uses extensive amounts time researching, then even more money travelling to a new fishing destination thinking one has all the answers, then it all turns out to be mediocre. Nothing replaces that local knowledge. When, where and how. It’s all different from place to place.

That’s where we come in. You remove those elements of doubt, uncertainty and can be safe in the knowledge that a short time with us will give you the answers you are looking for. We like to think that our friendly, down to earth approach to guiding combined with an open and pedagogical approach is that last brick in the wall which will make your tour with us a memorable one.

Ryan guiding a German client for wild Norwegian brown trout.

At this present moment in time, we am unable to offer a vast array of waders, jackets, etc. Due to the vast amount of human variations, we haven’t the stock to provide something for everyone. But if you are stuck, we will find a solution.

Permits and licences are included in the price. All licences needed to fish salmon and sea trout in the rivers (National and local permits) are unfortunately not included. We are more than happy to organise and order these at actual cost.

A lunch inspired by Norwegian nature will be provided. If you have any dietary needs, please contact us beforehand. Ryan has celiac disease and milk intolerance so you will be well catered for and understood.

Cold smoked local Atlantic salmon, goats cheese and fresh dill. A guiding lunch a lucky salmon fisher can expect.

Do not forget clothes to match the weather on your day of guiding. Woollen or sports underwear, fleece over and then a waterproof and windproof layer. More layers means that you can take off and on layers depending on how warm and cold you are. If you are unsure, be sure to contact me, as bad clothes can ruin an otherwise great day.

We look forward to hearing from you and please get in touch if you have any questions.
